Ayurveda Workshop
Balance your physical, mental, and emotional states
This interactive workshop aims to introduce participants to the concept of Ayurveda and the Doshas, which are the three fundamental principles that govern our physical, mental, and emotional states. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of their unique constitution and how to balance their Doshas through Mantras, Pranayama, Asana, Routine, Touch, Colors, Tea, Music, Aromas, Food and Spices.
As part of the Workshop, you will have a presentation along with the information, try out some techniques for each Dosha, and complete a questionnaire to learn about your Dosha which will empower you to observe, practice and change the life patterns that cause stress and imbalance.

Jessica Howard is the Abbess, Artistic and Executive Director of the P.O.T.E.G.P. Spiritual Guidance Center 501(c)3, also known as, The Heron Educational Center for the Human Spirit. Since 2012, Jessica has been caretaker of 22 Acres in Westport MA, devoted to conservation practices, enhancement of habitat for wildlife, in addition to educational programming for the public in providing talks, written literature and opportunities for people to learn about and interact with nature (the nature within and around). Jessica sees education as an integral part of stewardship, sustainability and wellness. Jessica has over fourteen years of professional experience as an educator, artist, and performer. Jessica is the founder and lead instructor of the Center’s 200hr Yoga and Meditation Teacher Teaching & Certification Program.

Balancea tu estado físicos, mental, y emocional
Este taller interactivo tiene como objetivo presentar a los participantes el concepto de Ayurveda y los Doshas, que son los tres principios fundamentales que gobiernan nuestros estados físicos, mentales y emocionales. Los participantes obtendrán una comprensión más profunda de su constitución única y cómo equilibrar sus Doshas a través de Mantras, Pranayama, Asana, Rutina, Tacto, Colores, Té, Música, Aromas, Comida y Especias.
Como parte del Taller, tendran una presentación junto con la información, probarás algunas técnicas para cada Dosha y completarás un cuestionario para aprender sobre tu Dosha que te permitirá observar, practicar y cambiar los patrones de vida que causan estrés y desequilibrio.

Join Yoga Es Vida as she leads a kids yoga session at K&A Creations. We will then have a light snack & work on a Positivity Box craft. The children will decorate a box of their own then fill it with positive affirmations.

“The Mindfulness and Kids Yoga Series” aims to equip children with tools to build self-esteem, manage anxiety and stress, improve health and wellbeing. Children will cultivate curiosity and interest through mindfulness activities, yoga, meditation, music, and other fun activities. Bilingual classes provides cultural awareness and perspectives, which can help broaden their understanding and appreciation of diversity.
Reservation: Registering in advance using the Google Form is required to save a spot in class. Space is limited to 10 Kids per class. Once the class limit is reached, we begin a waiting list.
Cancellations: Please contact us 24 hours before the class, to give the opportunity to other kids.
Materials: We provide all the materials for the activities.

“Presencia Mental y Yoga Series para Niños” tiene como objetivo equipar a los niños con herramientas para desarrollar la autoestima, controlar el estrés, la ansiedad y mejorar la salud y el bienestar en general. Los niños cultivan la atención mental, yoga, meditación, musica, y otras actividades divertidas. Las clases bilingües brindan differentes perspectivas culturales , lo que ayuda a ampliar su comprensión y apreciación por la diversidad.
Reserva: Es necesario registrarse con anticipación utilizando el formulario de Google para reservar su espacio en la clase. El limite es de 10 niños por clase. Una vez que se alcanza el límite de la clase, comenzamos una lista de espera.

This workshop is to cleanse and clear away all stagnant energy from the winter and to connect to and channel the energy of the new moon. Ruthie with Utopia's Path will: Lead a guided meditation to channel rejuvenating energy; Provide a chakra balancing, a type of reiki healing, to clear and align our chakra centers; Lead a gratitude ritual to channel high vibrational energy replacing the heavy winter energy. We will discuss the astrological influences of the new moon. Tahais with Yoga es Vida will: Lead a series of restorative yoga positions to align our physical energy with that of the spiritual energy of the Spring Equinox and new moon. The workshop will end with creating herb & crystal satchels to assist in connecting and channeling all the beautiful energy into our daily lives ***Light refreshments will be provided***
