I AM Yoga Nidra is an effortless ancient guided meditation technique that consists of a series of body, breath and awareness techniques designed to help you gently move into progressive states of relaxation / non-doing. In this practice you may be lying down, reclining, leaning against something, whatever is comfortable to you. This is the easiest way to gain the benefits of meditation without having to learn how to meditate.
Minimum Benefits of Yoga Nidra: Relaxation, restoration, stress management, awareness.
You may bring a Yoga mat or something to lie on, pillows (one for head and one for knees to support lower back), eye mask, blanket, water and a journal. The studio has additional props that you can borrow such as blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters.
